Victim Service Provider

  (800) 881-7493

Our organization is here to serve the communities of Southwest Minnesota, and support, empower, and advocate for all victims of crime.

New Horizons Crisis Center (NHCC) is a nonprofit organization that offers Crime Victim Services and Parenting Time Services in Redwood, Lyon, Lincoln, and Murray Counties.  In our Crime Victim Services Program, our victim advocates are trained professionals that specialize in supporting victim/survivors of crime and their loved ones. We do outreach in our local communities, offer education & trainings to our local partners, agencies, organizations, and community members, and provide prevention programming in our local area schools. The Parenting Time Program at New Horizons Crisis Center is designed to help families as they go through difficult and/or transitional times. We provide a positive, safe, neutral and interactive location for children to spend time with their non-custodial parent without being in the middle of conflicts. Through this Program, children have an opportunity to maintain a relationship with both parents. Our number one priority is for the emotional and physical health and well being of the children. The Program serves families in Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, and Redwood counties through court orders and referrals. Other counties and voluntary parents are welcome contingent upon availability. Supervised visits and safe exchanges are available Sundays from 1:00pm – 8:00pm and Mondays through Saturdays from 8:30am – 8:00pm
