Based on the limited funding we receive from the U.S. Housing and Urban Development agency (HUD), we provide HUD “Section 8” housing assistance. The correct name for this program now is the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

This is a program that makes market rate rental housing affordable for low income families. Program participants pay a minimum of 30% of their monthly adjusted income for rent and utilities.

This agency manages and operates the local public affordable housing program to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.
